The moment I opened this product, I knew this was going to be a great addition to my kitchen tools. Service was excellent.
There are sculptors of all kinds. There are sculptors who sculpt beautiful forms out of clay, some that make masterpieces out of a piece of wood and some that use a very unlikely source for their masterpieces. Balloons. I know, balloons aren’t the first things that come to mind when you think of a sculpture but there are many people who now form some beautiful works of art with nothing more than balloons and air.
Balloon sculpting is actually something that has been around longer than anyone might have realized. There were books written on balloon sculpting back in the late 1930’s and early 1940’s that showed how to master the art. Back then these were the only tools that were available to learn how to make balloon sculptures. Fortunately there are now many resources that can show someone how to master any art. With the wonderful world of the internet you can learn many things online. But there are also many kinds of videos that someone wood sculpting can purchase that will show them exactly how to make some of the most unique masterpieces.
There are many books on the subject of balloon sculpting that someone can purchase if you are not one that likes to just watch videos. These books on balloon sculpting can show you how to make a person out of balloons as well as most anything you can dream up. One of the main things that keeps people from creating some really neat balloon sculptures in their own imagination. You have to think outside the box a little bit if you want to create something really unique, no matter what you are creating.
To begin with balloon sculpting there are basically just two things that you will really have to have. Balloons and a small hand pump. Balloons come in every shape and color but there are two main sizes that most balloon sculptors would use. These are the “260” balloons and the “160” balloons. These are the actual numbers of the balloons but they also tell you about the balloon.
The “260” balloon will be 2” in diameter and 60” in length once completely blown up. And with the “160” balloon that means that the balloon will be 1” in diameter and 60” in length once it’s completely blown up. The “160” balloons almost require a hand pump as their small size takes some force to get them blown up. If a person blew up very many of those they would no doubt become light headed, ending up in a possibility of passing out if you aren’t careful.
Remember that with balloon sculpting that if you just try to have fun, you’ll be able to make some really neat creations. And that’s the best part. Balloon sculpting can create some really awesome creations that will have others wondering how you became so gifted. Yes there are many sculptures created out of clay, wood or ice, but so few of them can be as unique as one made out of balloons.
